Owensmouth High School is a public secondary school located in Jordan Avenue, Canoga Park, California in the West San Fernando Valley just next to Canoga Park High School and services area high schools. Owensmouth is part of Local District 1 of the Los Angeles Unified School District and has been educating students in grades 9 through 12 since 1973. The school follows a traditional single track school calendar.

About the Neighborhood

Canoga Park is a district in the western San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles, California. The area was originally named Owensmouth by Los Angeles Times publisher Harrison Gray Otis due to its proximity to the Los Angeles Aqueduct that brought water from the Owens Valley. On 25 June, 2005, Canoga Park was named an All-America City.
