Alain Leroy Locke High School is a public secondary school located in East 111th Street, Los Angeles, California. Named after Alain Locke, a critic-educator-philosopher-mentor of the Harlem Renaissance, Locke High School is a Title 1 co-educational public high school offering 9th through 12th grade senior high education. Founded back in1967, Locke is part of Local District 7 of the Los Angeles Unified School District.


The school campus is located in South Los Angeles near Watts. The school colors are powder blue and gold and the teams are called the Saints. WNBA baller Cynthia Cooper and baseball players Eddie Murray and Ozzie Smith are just some of the renowned names who studied at Locke High.
