History
1888-1911 - Thirtieth Street School, an elementary school in Los Angeles conducted classes at the school's current site.
1911 - the school was renamed as Thirtieth Street Intermediate School.
late 1920's - Hill Street and Broadway were cut through the school grounds for traffic maintenance purposes. The school eventually expanded, offering classes to 1800 students.
