George Ellery Hale Middle School is a public junior high school located in Woodland Hills, California. The school, part of Local District 1 of the Los Angeles Unified School District, serves grades 6 through 8 to approximately 2225 students under a traditional single track school calendar. Hale Middle School, named after George Ellery Hale, renowned American astrophysicist, opened in 1963.
