I was looking for someone to take my old car off of my hands last week, but try as I might I could not find anyone who was willing to pay the money for it. Rather than just let some company take my car off me for a paltry 50 I thought I would have a look about and see if there was anywhere that would be able to offer me something a bit more realistic. I had spent a lot of money on different parts and modifications so the thought of basically giving it away to someone who would then make money off of my hard work did not sit well with me. I am sure it would not be that difficult to "%20target=_blank sell my car for more than I had been originally offered.
They sent a guy round to give the car a quick once over after i had given them a call. There were too many concerns with the old banger for me to beleive I could have her road worthy again.
I kept pointing out the more costly features of my car to the guy as he was going around and checking it. The onboard fitted Bluetooth, it was Moto and plumbed in worth 40 in anyone's money. The two in one was good quality too; it was Pana and had that blue screen display, really cool looking bit of kit. My new car had all the toys so these I could afford to lose, but I still wanted a good price.
We had a discussion and after a bit of negotiating on both sides we were both happy with 200. He said that one of his trucks would be round to pick it up, couldn't drive it, and I would get the cash in my mitt after pick up, smashing.
I knew exactly what the 200 quid was going on and I called to make sure that the car accessories shop had the blue halogens that I wanted. They did and I asked that they set them aside for me. Just then the fellow pulled up in his new van and loaded up my old car, it was sad to see it go but the cash in my pocket more than made up for that.
So there it is...I wanted to sell my car...they wanted "%20target=_blank scrap cars...deal done...they will make some money out of it but I have got what I want and my new car is looking great with the new headlights.
This place was a lot better to deal with than that other lot you see so give it a try.
