Getting A Bit Of Spare Cash For My Old Car
From Wiki Directory & Information Resource Guide for Schools, Universities, Learning Acadamies
I was looking for someone to take my old car off of my hands last week, but try as I might I could not find anyone who was prepared to pay the cash for it. Rather than just let some company take my car off me for a paltry 50 I thought I would have a look about and see if there was anywhere that would be able to offer me something a bit more sensible. I had spent a lot of money on different parts and modifications so the thought of basically giving it away to someone who would then make money off of my hard work did not sit well with me. I am sure it would not be that difficult to "%20target=_blank sell my car for more than I had been originally offered.
I called them from the contact number on their web site and had a bloke come around to my house for a look at my past pride and joy. He turned up, on time, which was a real Brucie bonus, and gave the old jalopy the once over. I mean it starts and all that, but the brakes were ropey to say the least and with the timing belt due to go, again, it had to be got rid.
Whilst the bloke was poking about I kept pushing him in the right direction, like the tyres all four nearly new. The onboard fitted Bluetooth, it was Moto and plumbed in worth 40 in anyone's money. The two in one was good quality too; it was Pana and had that blue screen display, really cool looking bit of kit. My new car had all the toys so these I could afford to lose, but I still wanted a good price.
After a bit of 'tooing and froing' with the bloke we ultimately agreed on what I think was a fair price for us both. I settled for 200 and we shook hands on the deal. He said that one of his trucks would be round to pick it up, couldn't drive it, and I would get the cash in my mitt after pick up, smashing.
I knew exactly what the 200 quid was going on and I called to make sure that the car accessories shop had the blue halogens that I wanted. They did and I asked that they set them aside for me. Once again right on time the dealer agent turns up and lifts my old friend onto the back of his lorry. I nearly shed a tear, but the weight of the 200 notes in my hand soon put a stop to that nonsense.
So there it is...I wanted to sell my car...they wanted "%20target=_blank scrap cars...deal done...they make coin and I get nice new shiny blue headlight bulbs for my latest best new friend.
This place was a lot better to deal with than that other lot you see so give it a try.
