Fairfax Senior High School is a public secondary school located in Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, California. A part of Local District 4 of the Los Angeles Unified School District, Fairfax High first opened its doors in 1924 offering 9th through 12 grade level secondary education, following a traditional single track calendar year. The school's students and sports teams are called "the Lions," the school colors are crimson/gold/black, the school name is "The Colonials," the school mascot is "The Lion," and the school motto is "FARE FAC" (Say and Do).
