Dorris Place Elementary School is a public elementary school located in Dorris Pl, Los Angeles, specifically in a community bounded by the Los Angeles River on the east and the Golden State Freeway called the Elysian Valley. A part of the Los Angeles Unified School District School in Local District E, Dorris Place started operating in 1925 offering Pre-kindergarten through 5th grade classes following a LEARN calendar. 180 of the school's students attend Dorris place through the Capacity Adjustment Program and are bussed in to the school.
