Darby Elementary

Darby Elementary is located is a public elementary school located in Northridge, California, just between Chatsworth Street and Reseda Boulevard. A member of the Los Angeles Unified School District, the school was established in 1959 and has been offering pre-kindergarten through 5th grade education since, following a traditional single track calendar year. The school features a Reading Garden that provides a serene place where children can read books and study their lessons. As documented on their website, Darby is a proud recipient of District 1's award for Most Beautiful Elementary School Campus. In addition, the school has a very respectable API score, and features a School for Advanced Studies/Gifted and Talented Program, District 1's largest elementary school orchestra, Wonder of Reading Library, a Science Center and a brand new Computer Lab.
