Cienega Elementary

Cienega Elementary School is located in a mid-city commercial/residential area adjacent to the Santa Monica freeway. It was established in 1917 and is serving students from kindergarten through 5th grade levels. Cienega School is presently on a traditional calendar schedule. Students in Special Education classes are bussed to Cienega each day. The school receives extra funding for this program in addition to Title 1, School Improvement, Bilingual, and GATE programs. Funds from all of these programs supplement the instructional program and meet the special needs of identified students.
