Castle Heights Elementary

Castle Heights Elementary School is a pre-kindergarten through fifth grade school in the Hamilton High Complex. It is a member of the Los Angeles Unified School District, opened in 1951, and follows a single track calendar year. Castle Heights Elementary is a culturally diverse, socio-economically blended, Title I Academic Achieving school with a targeted assistant program. Students who are eligible for Targeted Assistance through Title I are identified through various assessments but primarily norm referenced local and state tests, and their qualification is based on their lack of proficiency in English Language Arts or Math.
