Canoga Park High School is a public school located in Canoga Park in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California, USA. It is located right across the street from the Topanga Plaza shopping center. Regarded as the oldest high school in the west San Fernando Valley, the school was opened in 1914 and has been offering 9th through 12th grade classes. The school is a member of the Los Angeles Unified School District and follows the traditional single track calendar year. The school has an agriculture/environmental/veterinary science magnet established in 1996. It also has a one and a half acre farm at the school, which commonly houses sheep, pigs, goats, rabbits, and cattle.

History
1914 - Canoga Park High School opened with 14 students and 2 teachers on October 4 under its original school name, Owensmouth High School.
1916 - In June, the first Owensmouth High School graduation occured, with two graduates namely Edith Haas and Solly H. Patrick. In September, Owensmouth High started the school year with a new building and a new location which was near the softball field on the present-day Canoga Park High School campus.
1925 - The Owensmouth High School Marching Band was formed with 9 students.
1929 - In June, a fire destroyed the upper floor of the school.
1931 - In January, students returned from vacation to move into the new school buildings. At this same year, the town of Owensmouth changed its name to Canoga Park which prompts the renaming of the school to Canoga Park High despite protests from Alumni.
1968 - The school's football team, the Canoga Park Hunters, won the City Championship against Polytechnic High School.
1971 - The Greek styled 100 Building which housed the school library and administrative offices suffered severe damages from the Sylmar earthquake.
1975 - The condemned 100 Building was demolished.
1978 - In March, the new buildings that replaced the demolished 100 and 200 buildings were opened.
