Beckford Elementary

Beckford Avenue Elementary School is located in Northridge, California and is a member of the Los Angeles Unified School District. Beckford Elementary offers classes for kindergarten through fifth grade, following a single track year. Since the 1998-99 school year, the school became a school-based management school.

Beckford is closely associated with Nobel Middle school and Granada High school as most of Beckford's alumni go to these schools for their higher education. The school also has a bilingual program where an English Language Development Program is used at each grade level.

The Beckford Mascot is the Beckford Bear; the school logo is a paw print.
