Twenty-Eighth Street Elementary School is a Title I public primary school located in Stanford Avenue, Los Angeles, California. The campus can be found on the corner of 28th Street and San Pedro Avenue, in South Central Los Angeles. Established in 1895, 28th Street School serves pre-kindergarten through fifth grade students following a four-track year-round school calendar. The school is part of Local District 5 of the Los Angeles Unified School District and has developed/received several instructional program enhancements which includes Bilingual Classes, LA's Best, LA Adopt-a-class, and many others.
